Outlook 2016 global address list not updating
We have another server in the wings waiting to be deployed, but we need to address the problem in the meantime. If it does not, then it is the generation or distribution process that is failing. OWA reflects the information correctly, but Outlook does not. I have tried deleting the OAB files, but when I download the address book, it still has the outdated version.I'm wondering if anyone has anyone has any tips that could help me address this issue. Are you using web or public folder distribution for the OAB? If you are on Outlook 2010, any reason you are still using public folder distribution?Outlook clients on other machines do have a complete GAL including all newly-created users.
It had all of the up-to-date information until I did a manual send/receive of the address book.This cmdlet is available only in on-premises Exchange Server 2016.Use the Update-Global Address List cmdlet to update the recipients included in a global address list (GAL).This morning I was asked to update the Global Address List and Offline Address Book in an Exchange environment.You could wait for Exchange to do it automatically (the default schedule is once a day) but what when you want to force the update to take place right now?
Hello, GAL is not updating even when I manually update the Outlook Address Book in each of the two Outlook profiles on the BES/ZCB machine.
